Deep intake of breath: A Quiet Place: Part II is your next Cineworld Unlimited screening (Friday the 28th of May). So, are you brave enough to embark on another terrifying journey with the Abbott family?
This time around, mother Evelyn (Emily Blunt), deaf daughter Regan (Millicent Simmonds) and son Marcus (Noah Jupe) are compelled to leave their home in search of fellow survivors. This means engaging with the outside world, one they must navigate in absolute silence lest they bring the hideous sound-sensitive aliens down on their heads.
Their search brings them into contact with Emmett (Cillian Murphy) who is disillusioned with the state of the world and the people left behind in it. Is there, in fact, anyone worth saving? Given that Regan possesses the ability to disable the creatures with her hearing aid, the family must make difficult choices about how to proceed.
Returning director John Krasinski expands the lore, including a hair-raising opening sequence that's sure to get the heart racing. As with the first movie, your challenge is to live vicariously through the characters and resist making even the slightest noise...
